The show will include established tanning sectors from India, Pakistan, Turkey, and Russia, as well as African countries such as Egypt, Ethiopia, and South Africa, presenting a unique chance for European buyers given travel restrictions throughout the last two years.

There will also be a strong footwear sector at the fair from the Indian subcontinent, Europe and North Africa. Organisers say this will allow the show to expand the market to both Western and Eastern Europe, Russia, the Middle East, Africa and India.

Although APLF plans to revert to Hong Kong once restrictions ease, Dubai was chosen for the 2022 event because of its good global transport links, Covid-19 safety and excellent exhibition and hotel facilities conducive to doing business.
