ISA TanTec, the sustainability focussed leather manufacturer represented by the LITE (Low Impact to the Environment) trademark, announced that its Heshan TanTec (China) and Saigon TanTec (Vietnam) plants have both maintained their LWG Gold status, while the U.S. based Mississippi TanTec has obtained a Silver Award after only two years of operation.
As reported by ILM, the Group appointed Fanny Lan as Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) in July, hence, reinforcing ISA’s continuous commitment to environmental excellence and sustainability and social responsibilities in the leather tanning industry.
“ISA is committed to every square foot of leather produced from any of its global tanneries carry the same quality and are all produced by using the best environmental practices”, said the company.
