The event took place on May 27, when employees’ families had the chance to visit the workplace and get a taste of what the company is all about

The visit included a tour of the production areas, offices and research and development laboratories. Meanwhile, children had the opportunity to take part in a leather workshop and draw a picture of the company, and then enjoy street food specially prepared for the occasion.

More than 700 participants attended the open day, along with the Mayors of Arzignano and Chiampo, Gruppo Mastrotto President Chiara Mastrotto, company founders Bruno and Santo Mastrotto and the Board of Directors.

Speaking at the event, Santo Mastrotto said: “We have been lucky enough to have worked side by side, throughout all these years, to people who have given so much and who, together with our family, have built a healthy, strong company.

“One of the next challenges is to make the tannery and the leathers we produce increasingly environmentally friendly. My passion has always been the technical aspects of leather tanning, and I hope that all technicians at Gruppo Mastrotto will continue to work with enthusiasm to achieve this.”

The event forms part of the Gruppo Mastrotto’s Sustainability Journey, which includes maintaining a healthy and constructive work relationship.
