Mora will oversee the design of ready-to-wear, footwear, jewellery, home and licensed lifestyle collections for the brand.

Before joining Kate Spade, he was Creative Director of Women’s and Licensed Products at Cole Haan and has worked at J. Crew, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and Coach.

Meanwhile, Lyu will head the design of handbags and accessories collections at Kate Spade. She most recently worked at Tory Burch leading design for handbags and small leather goods.

Before this, she also held design leadership positions at 3.1 Phillip Lim across men’s and women’s categories including accessories, footwear and ready-to-wear, as well as Emilio Pucci, Louis Vuitton and Prada.

These appointments follow the departure of Kate Spade’s Creative Director Nicola Glass more than a year ago. The brand has not filled the Creative Director position.
