The second article unpacks the chemical strategies associated with wastewater management and the critical role technological development has played in the leather tanning industry’s pursuit to produce clean wastewater. It showcases three technologies: reverse osmosis crossflow filtration, electrodialysis and microalgae fuel cell technology.
