According to the official figures from the organisers, over 23,000 visitors were registered over the three days of the exhibition, representing a 3% increase compared with the previous edition in 2015. Chinese visitors were also on the rise with +8% registered on the first day of the event.

A total of 1,167 exhibiting companies were present in this edition, against 1,044, in 2015 (+11.8%), of which many new companies were from China.

“All China Leather Exhibition is an important platform for us to present our existing product range and recent innovated products. We met both new and existing customers from the markets we service being New Zealand, Australia, China, Korea, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Italy, France, Germany, Spain and Argentina”, says exhibitor, Tom Allan, China Sales Manager, Lowe Corporation, New Zealand.

Last year the ACLE took place just prior to a one-off national holiday to mark the end of the second world war in China, organised by the Chinese government.

The ACLE represents the leading exhibition platform in the leather industry to reach the Chinese market. The fair will take place August 30 – September 1, 2017 at SNIEC in Shanghai.
