Following the Eid-ul-Azha celebrations across Kashmir in Northern India, there has been a sharp decline in the collection of raw hides and skins, as people were seen dumping them along roadsides and water bodies in the Indian valley. Usually, they are collected from households by seasonal traders and madrasa/orphanages, who sell the hides which then get tanned.
