The show organsiers, APLF Ltd and the China Leather Industry Association (CLIA) have gathered together 36 countries and regions and the ACLE features 21 Group pavillions at ACLE 2013. The ACLE represents the entire leather supply chain and is the most important leather event in China. Exhibitors include traders, tanners, tannery suppliers, machinery and equipment and other related sectors. Around 40% represent leather process chemical producers.

Two other fairs, CIFF and Moda Shanghai (224 exhibitors) also take place alongside ACLE and feature finished products including many made of leather such as footwear, leather goods and garments.

As many in the trade head back to work after the summer, the ACLE is the perfect place to judge the mood of the market and discuss the ever present topic of raw material prices.

ACLE includes 16% of exhibitors in the “international halls” from China as well as 49% in the domestic hall at the show. The takes place in halls E1-E7 and N5 of the SNIEC with non-domestic exhibitors located in halls E1-3.
