“We have a number of high-profile companies signed up for the reception this year from Asia, Europe and the USA. This includes a number of influential meat groups, packers as well as several important tanners,” explains Nick Winters, Interim President, ICHSLTA.
ICHSLTA, with the support of APLF Ltd, will host the reception on Sunday, March 30, 2014. It will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) during the evening preceding the Asia Pacific Leather Fair.
“Following a slight dip in raw material prices in Europe during December and January the market is looking like it might increase again over the next few weeks. Tanners need to meet with the hide and skin trade to ensure that we have some stability in the market place, which is for the benefit of the whole industry. The cocktail reception is an ideal setting to network and discuss the market”, added Winters.
The reception will take place in sea view lounge N106-108 of the HKCEC between 18.00-20.00.
