Kenya urged to strengthen value addition in leather sector
According to a new study by the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA), around 90% of Kenya’s leather exports continue to leave the country as raw hides, skins and semi-processed leather, despite government efforts to promote value addition.
