Spitzer will be based in Milan, report to Kering Chief Executive Officer Luca de Meo and join the group’s Executive Committee.
He joins from LVMH Beauty, where he most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Fragrance Group, overseeing a portfolio of luxury brands. With more than 30 years of experience in the luxury sector, Spitzer has held senior leadership roles across Guerlain, Yves Saint Laurent Parfums, Parfums Christian Dior and LVMH Fragrance Brands.
In his new role, Spitzer will lead Bottega Veneta’s next phase of growth, focusing on strengthening the brand’s desirability, enhancing client relationships and driving retail excellence while building on the house’s heritage of craftsmanship and creativity.
