The new divisions, Industry and Client, form part of Kering’s Group platform and are intended to provide its Houses with a unified framework, additional resources and operational tools to accelerate strategy execution. Relevant teams within the Houses will report functionally to the new centres.

The Industry division will oversee purchasing, manufacturing, supply chain, quality and research and development, with the aim of strengthening production capabilities and improving efficiency across the group.

Meanwhile, the Client division will focus on customer-related strategy across the value chain, including product and pricing, marketing, distribution channels, sales and operations planning (S&OP), and data.

Senior appointments

Alongside the structural changes, Kering has announced several senior appointments.

Stéphane Noël has been named Chief Industrial Officer, effective April 1, 2026. Reporting to CEO Luca de Meo and joining the executive committee, Noël will be responsible for shaping the group’s industrial organisation and improving supply performance while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and traceability. He brings three decades of international experience in large-scale manufacturing operations, most recently serving as Executive Vice President of the Seating division at automotive technology group Forvia.

Carlo Mocci will join as Chief Client Officer on May 4, 2026, also reporting to de Meo and sitting on the executive committee. Mocci has more than 20 years’ experience across consulting, retail and technology platforms. He previously held leadership roles at McKinsey & Company, Amazon and Deliveroo, where he served as Chief Business Officer.

Reporting to Mocci, Fedele Usai has been appointed Chief Marketing Officer, effective immediately. Usai has over two decades of experience spanning luxury, publishing and communications, including senior roles at Condé Nast and Dolce & Gabbana. He will lead the group’s marketing strategy and support brand activities across media, customer relationship management and brand experiences.

Daniele Zito, who joined in January 2026 as Chief Commercial Officer, will oversee the group’s distribution strategy across retail, e-commerce and wholesale channels. Zito previously worked at consulting firm Bain & Company and spent nine years at Gucci, including five years as President of Gucci Japan.

Commenting on the changes, CEO Luca de Meo said the appointments bring complementary expertise that will help accelerate the transformation underway at Kering. He added that the new centres of excellence will improve coordination across teams and strengthen the group’s ability to support its Houses’ performance and growth
