Richie Woodworth was appointed to the position of President of the Company’s Lifestyle Group as from January 2016. He will be leading the strategic management of brands such as Sperry, Stride Rite, Keds, and Hush Puppies.

Woodworth has over 30 years of experience in branded footwear and apparel. He had been leading the global growth of Wolverine Worldwide’s Saucony brand since 2006.  Previously, he held various executive roles, including president of Tommy Hilfiger Footwear and President of the Greg Norman Collection at Reebok.

“For me, growth has always stemmed from understanding consumers’ needs and developing carefully considered and innovative products, combined with compelling storytelling. I am excited about this new opportunity and privileged to join Blake [CEO] and the executive management team as we work to build our family of brands around the world,” said Woodworth.

Other leadership appointments in November, around the company’s key strategic growth areas include Scott Sincerbeaux as President of Consumer Direct, and Tom Kennedy in the newly-created role as President of Apparel and Accessories.

As part of the move, the Stride Rite Children’s Group will join Wolverine’s Consumer Direct division, enabling leadership to focus efforts and investments on a coordinated set of growth initiatives.
