Lack of political interest in the EU for the leather industry
The 2nd World Leather Congress was held in Milan on September 8 and included presentations on the future of the tanning industry. The Director of UNIC, Salvatore Mercogliano said there was a lack of interest from political leaders in the EU for the industry.
