Pearson has many years experience of working in the leather industry and is an expert on legislation and regulations within the industry. He formally worked at BLC Leather Technology Centre and last year retired as Director of the UK Leather Federation. However, Paul is still actively involved in his role at the ICT and works with a number of tanners’ associations and other related trade bodies and companies around the world. His presentation will be of particular interest to OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers and tanners who need to be brought up-to-date with the latest legislation affecting the auto leather sector especially from the EU.
Paul Pearson joins, Valerio Garcia Leather Team Leader, Faurecia Interior Systems and Florian Schrey, Director of Design Europe for GST Seton Autoleather who will also be key speakers at the conference.
The half-day (afternoon) conference will take place at the prestigious five-star Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel in the Pudong district of Shanghai. The timing and the location of the conference has been specifically chosen to be located opposite the Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre (SNIEC), the venue for the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE), which takes place September 3-5.
