Hermès reopens Kaohsiung flagship
Separately, Hermès has announced the reopening of its renovated and expanded store at Hanshin mall in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Originally opened in 1996, the two-storey boutique features a dedicated leather goods area framed by carved wood walls and forms part of the house’s continued investment in showcasing its leather collections. Designed by Paris-based architecture agency RDAI, the space draws inspiration from Kaohsiung’s harbour and architectural heritage, blending fine craftsmanship, bespoke furnishings and natural materials to reflect Hermès’ artisanal identity.
