This year, LIA will host 12 participating companies in Hong Kong. These companies sell a variety of quality leathers for the footwear, fashion, accessory and garment industry. Its exhibitors also sell hides, wet-blue and tanning and finishing products.
This year, the LIA pavilion will also host the Leather Research Laboratory at the University of Cincinnati (LRL). The LRL has served the interests of the tanning industry worldwide since its founding at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1924. Today, the LRL provides a variety of testing and consultation services for leather and leather products.
The LIA represents the interests of companies that tan, finish and sell leather into the US market, and companies who support the leather industry through sales of chemicals, hides and other goods and services. Its members’ businesses span the globe and represent the highest standards of quality.
