Other exhibitors include seven manufacturers of accessories and components, and eight of fabrics and synthetics. “Lineapelle London presents itself as an opportunity to provide clarity in the British market. In a complex and uncertain market, the exhibition at the Ham Yard Hotel will bring stylistic innovations, presenting the first samples for the summer season 2020 and proposing initiatives aimed at discussion and sharing”, say the organisers. A seminar titled; “Relationships Between Material, Designer & User” will compare leather, craftsmanship and a stylistic approach, with a view to customising the product for interior design.

After London, the Lineapelle preview heads to the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York, January 30-31, where trend analysts, influencers, innovators, designers and manufacturers of materials are expected to attend. Topics to be discussed during the event include customisation, biomanufacturing, functionalised materials, circular fashion and how everything intercepts and connects with current fashion and economic trends.

The 96th edition of Lineapelle in Milan takes place February 20-22.
