Living in interesting times

It is said there is an old Chinese curse; “May you live in interesting times!”, which appears to be a blessing but is actually a curse. I have no doubt that our industry is indeed “living in interesting times” and the leaders of our companies will need all of their wisdom and experience to guide us to a secure future. The leather and associated trades are global operators, with products traded between all countries of the world. As such, we are very exposed to changes in the global geopolitical climate and the related macro-economic trends.
