LK Bennett has been acquired by Rebecca Feng, who runs the retail chain’s franchise in China. Ms Feng, who is reported to have acquired the UK, Ireland and wholesale business, is also to buy parts of the European and American business. Some 15 stores are expected to close, representing a loss of 110 jobs.

As reported by ILM, LK Bennett was preparing to appoint administrators as the company struggles to reverse an operating loss of nearly £6 million (US$7.95 million) on sales of £77.4 million (US$102.58 million) in the year to 29 July 2017, with pre-tax losses rising to £48 million (US$63.59 million) in the period.
