LVMH sets up an Animal-based Raw Materials Sourcing Charter

Announced by the French luxury conglomerate on September 25, the Charter addresses the complex issues involved in sourcing of furs, leathers, exotic skins, wool and feathers, and seeks to take an “exhaustive approach supported by concrete resources” and long-term commitments encompassing animal husbandry and trapping, traceability, and respect for people, the environment and biodiversity.
