During a recent meeting of the show’s Organising Committee held in Madrid, Spain, and attended by stakeholders of the footwear sector, the key points upon which the organisation of future events will be based in to achieve more effectiveness were discussed. The decision to reinforce the image positioning and identity of the trade fair as a major reference for the “Made in Spain” footwear was taken, as well as the strategies to attract new exhibitors from Italy and Portugal. “We will continue working to this end in various areas, particularly stressing the advantages that taking part in MOMAD Shoes brings”, said Jaime de la Figuera, Director, MOMAD Shoes.

“The fact that the event is held at the end of the circuit allows participating brands to take part with their full complement of offers, and buyers to get to know the collections of new models that were not ready for earlier events”, added Juan Carlos Fernández de Salort of footwear brand Pons Quintana.

The next edition of MOMAD Shoes is to take place September 22-24, 2017 at IFEMA – Feria de Madrid, Spain.
