Founded in 1882, Moreau is one of France’s historic Parisian monogram houses. The brand was revived in the early 2010s and subsequently expanded internationally, with sales in Japan rising by more than 30% between 2022 and 2025. Moreau now generates approximately €10 million in annual global retail sales through boutiques, department stores, franchise partners and digital channels.
Groupe Lécuyer, which employs around 800 people across France and internationally, brings manufacturing expertise across leather and textiles. The acquisition is expected to strengthen Moreau’s industrial capabilities, product development and international distribution while preserving its identity and craftsmanship.
