The General Motors brand led the national sales ranking in the period with 18.81% market share, followed by Volkswagen (13.9%), Hyundai (10.72%), Ford (9.91%) and Renault (8.15%). “The performance of the first two months of the year is in line with expectations,” said Alarico Assumpção Júnior, President, National Federation of Automotive Vehicles Distribution (Fenabrave).

Premium brand Mercedes-Benz ranked 16th, with BMW, Audi and Land Rover following closely in that order.
