New Ecostep project sets framework for footwear sustainability

The European footwear sector has launched Ecodesign criteria for Sustainability in footwear and Testing methods for Evaluation of Performance (Ecostep), a four-year Horizon Europe project that will establish the first comprehensive ecodesign framework tailored specifically to footwear.
