Mulder will report to VF’s Chairman, President and CEO, Steve Rendle, and will also serve on VF’s Executive Leadership Team. Rendle said Mulder, “brings a broad mix of experience in apparel, retail and consumer strategies”.

Her responsibilities include driving Timberland’s core strategic priorities related to product diversification across footwear and apparel. She will build on the brand’s new eco-innovation franchises and maintain the Timberland PRO business.

Mulder’s previous experience includes serving as CEO of women’s clothing brand NIC+ZOE since April 2012, where during her tenure the brand continued revenue growth through expansion. Before that, she was a partner at McKinsey & Company where she led the global retail and consumer goods practice for 15 years.

Mulder intends to evolve what she describes as Timberland’s, “clear commitment to environmental and social responsibility”.
