Hein Vugs studied as a mechanical engineer in Tilburg, Netherlands and graduated in 1985. After an initial stint as a project engineer, he moved into sales and marketing and joined Sandoz in 1990. In 1997, he began his leather career at Clariant Germany with responsibility for their global “Wet End Chemicals” business. In 2002, Vugs assumed responsibility for the “Dyes and Dyeing Auxiliaries” product group and the Clariant leather department in Spain. In 2005, he moved to Clariant in Switzerland, where he managed commercial activities and the planning and logisitics for the leather business unit. From 2008 until his move to Trumpler, he was responsible for sales, marketing and key account management for Europe, Middle East and Africa and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Dr Feigel, who retires at the end of 2014, worked at Trumpler for almost 16 years, 10 of which as Managing Director. In his time at Trumpler, Dr Feigel oversaw the strategic market-orientated restructuring of the Trumpler product portfolio, increased the integration of the subsidiaries within the Group, and was instrumental in the creation and development of Trumpler Chemicals and Dyes (TCD), an important and successful production, sales and technical support element of the Group. Prior to joining Trumpler, Dr Feigel held positions at FILK Freiberg and at Röhm/TFL. He has also played an important role in the German and European leather industry as an active member and contributor in a number of associations, committees and institutions, in particular, TEGEWA, VGCT, VDL and FILK.
