Leather is a natural product with a unique set of physical and aesthetic properties. It exhibits high durability and stability in certain environmental conditions, such as variable humidity, extreme temperatures or even, for example, exposure to chemicals. These extraordinary properties are the result of the chemical treatment that the raw hides receive during their conversion into leather, most importantly the tanning process.
