Organisers of the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) have announced that the 2021 show will be cancelled from its original dates of November 23-25, 2021 and rescheduled to August 31 – September 2, 2022, its usual dates.

The organisers were forced to delay the event following local Covid-19 outbreaks and subsequent lockdowns and travel restrictions. The exhibition will remain at the same venue in 2022, the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

The lockdown affected provinces include many of the major tanning and manufacturing provinces for China’s leather goods production, including Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Qinghai, Inner Mongolia, Beijing, Hebei, Henan, Shandong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan and Chongqing.

The last edition of the fair took place in 2019 and is co-organised by APLF Ltd and the China Leather Industry Association (CLIA).
