The global leather chemicals manufacturer has announced that it has successfully renewed its company presence on the ZDHC Gateway.

The ZDHC Gateway is the electronic catalogue of chemicals in which compliant products can be found, as part of the ZDHC Foundations’ Roadmap to Zero program.

To make access easier for TFL customers and fashion brands, all TFL supplied products are now published on a single account – TFL Ledertechnik GmbH – including products manufactured in India, Italy, China or former Lanxess sites.

This means the TFL account now provides more than 1,500 formulations, all tested and certified to the highest confidence Level 3 by TFLs partner and accredited service provider Chem-MAP.

In a statement marking the occasion, the company said: “The principle to replace hazardous substances by less harmful ones wherever technically possible has been one of the priorities in product development at TFL even before ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals).

“Consequently, TFL can offer a complete product portfolio for leather manufacture from beamhouse to finishing touch agents that are compliant to the strict requirements of the global ZDHC Manufacturing Restricted Substance List (MRSL Vs. 2.o).”
