In a free-to-attend upcoming webinar, hosted by ILM, experts from global chemicals business Lanxess will explain the benefits and challenges of using of biocides in leather.
On May 25, 2022, Andreas Weckmann, Technical Marketing Leather Biocides, and Franziska Sophia Römhild, Global Product Manager for Biocides for the Leather Industry, will explain why we need biocides, their benefits, the options already available on the market and some of the regulatory difficulties.
They will also cover the future, sustainability and safety of biocides, and will update attendees on the restricted substance lists (RSL, MRSL) etc. to help tanners optimise the safe use of biocides during leather manufacturing.
“Biocides in leather: A blessing or curse” will take place on May 25, 2022, at 2pm CET (1pm BST) lasting for 45 minutes with a live Q&A with the presenters hosted by ILM Content Director Martin Ricker.
