Discounts available for leather exporters in Bangladesh

Exporters of leather and leather goods in Bangladesh can now apply to the Discount Committee of the Central Bank for export discounts.
The Foreign Exchange Policy Department of the Bangladesh Bank announced the discounts on December 15, which could be more than 5%.
These discounts were solely available to the apparel sector until now and further discounts will be considered if exporters can show reasonable evidence for their necessity.
