During the 10th Asian International Conference for Leather Science and Technology (AICLST) in Okayama, Japan this week representatives from three leather making countries expressed concern about the slowing market for leather. The comments followed a quiet Istanbul Leather Fair where Turkish tanners have been finding market conditions more challenging.
