Australian tanner welcomes weaker dollar

Queensland exporters are hesitant to declare Australia “back in business” despite the Aussie dollar tumbling below US$0.80/A$1 on January 23 for the first time since July 2009. However, Australian tanner, Packer Leather has cautiously welcomed a weaker currency, which will help with exports.
