Record year for U.S hide, skin and leather exports

The United States hide, skin and leather industry set a new record in 2014, exporting more than $2.85 billion worth of cattle hides, pig skins, and semi-processed leather products. However, the West Coast Port crisis is crippling industry exports in 2015.
