The Corium Club, a student society from the Institute for Creative Leather Technologies (ICLT) at the University of Northampton, UK, and Trumpler, the German chemical supplier, teamed up for a social event held at the Land Rover test site situated at Eastnor Castle, UK.

In October, a strong team composed of 15 participants from Trumpler and ICLT staff, family and friends with ICLT students and supporters, braved 12 km of mud and slime along with 2,000 other competitors in a race where the main objective is simply to finish.

The mud run is part of Trumpler’s annual visit to the University of Northampton, which includes presentations and discussions with the final year BSc students.

“Trumpler is proud to support the teaching provision of ICLT in conjunction with its international education and communication activities”, the company told ILM.
