Stahl opens renewed Karachi lab

Leather chemical company Stahl, has officially opened its renovated application lab in Karachi earlier this week. The lab focuses on the latest developments of new fashion items and customer services. It also offers physical testing services and aftercare for new products. 

With the renewed application lab, Stahl aims to help customers meet the most stringent requirements for shoe upper, garment, leather goods and upholstery by offering global solutions and a strong back-up from the aftercare division.

The lab will become a hub of new developments since it is the only lab in Pakistan offering the latest available facilities. It focuses on the latest developments from wet-end to finishing.

The new lab in Karachi, was formally opened by Stahl CEO Huub van Beijeren and is equipped with modern machinery to cater to customers’ needs. In the lab, Stahl will perform physical testing, computerised colour matching along with all the standard operational processes for leather making. 

Stahl has a global presence, with nine R&D centres, 11 manufacturing sites and nearly 40 application labs worldwide.
