Lectra, a global leader in integrated cutting room solutions for the automotive industry, has released a video portraying the highlights of the two-day “Go Digital” event held in Bordeaux last April.
Attended by ILM, the global conference on the future of automotive leather welcomed over 60 attendees, including decision-makers from over 20 countries, at Lectra’s International Advanced Technology and Conference (IATC) centre in Bordeaux-Cestas, France, to discuss the impact of digital transformation on the automotive leather value chain.
Presentations covered wide-ranging topics, including worldwide light vehicle production forecasts, the sustainability and short-term market outlook of bovine leather, and the benefits of leveraging technology to stay apace of automotive interior design trends. Read more here.
The international participants praised the well-organised, balanced event, which brought together representatives from the whole leather automotive supply chain. “It was very interesting because there were different points of views.
