Tanners should drop “disruption” talk

Article first published in ILM May-June 2016 print edition. The new buzzword these days seems to be disruption. It is a word that came into business use when “disruptive innovation” was first mentioned by the Harvard Business School Professor Clayton Christensen in his book ‘The Innovator’s Dilemma’ in the 1990s.
