Andreas Kindermann, CEO of Austria based automotive leather supplier, Wollsdorf Leder, will be one of key speakers at the forthcoming ILM Automotive Leather Supply Chain conference in Paris next month. He will present some industry groundbreaking work during the event.
His presentation, titled; “Wollsdorf – Sustainability and new automotive trends”, will give an overview about the latest achievements in sustainability at Wollsdorf and focus on a special project that the company has been working on related to water savings during processing. Wollsdorf has been the first tannery to achieve a zero CO2 balance at its Austrian tannery and is continuously striving to reduce the water consumption using revolutionary new technology.
In addition, Kindermann will further outline three key future trends in the automotive Industry and give will examples how they will change requirements and expectations about car leathers in the future.

The ILM Automotive Leather Supply Chain Europe conference takes place at the elegant 5-star, Le Meurice hotel in central Paris’s rue du Rivoli. The half-day conference takes place on Monday, October 17 (afternoon) and features leading companies and speakers representing the entire automotive leather supply chain. Presentations will be in English only.

The conference has been deliberately organised to coincide with the end of the Paris International Motor show which closes in the French capital the day before. The date also offers delegates the opportunity to spend the weekend in Paris prior to the conference.
