Stahl Neo helps tanners to meet 2020 ZDHC MRSL compliancy goals

Published:  25 May, 2017

With Stahl’s affiliation to the ZDHC Foundation, Stahl is committing itself over the next two and a half years to reaching zero discharge of hazardous chemicals in 2020. The Stahl Neo leather finish product portfolio helps tanners to meet the ZDHC goals, as well as make their businesses future-proof. Stahl Neo complies with the Zero Discharge Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (MRSL) and even goes beyond these guidelines, targeting an even wider range of chemical substances.

Using the Stahl Neo products, tanners will be able to produce the full range of leather articles in a compliant, consistent and sustainable way. The future-proof Stahl Neo portfolio provides clients with a complete sustainable leather finish range that can be easily adapted to existing formulations and applications.

At the same time, different industries – such as the garment, footwear, upholstery, furniture and leather goods industries – are increasingly requesting more sustainable leather. The Stahl Neo portfolio consists of 460 products and will expand continuously.
