JBS boss hands himself in to federal police

Joesley Bastista, one of JBS owners, handed himself in to Brazil’s federal police on September 10 as Brazil’s Supreme Court ordered his arrest. Earlier in the month, Brazilian meatpacking giant JBS SA announced it had signed agreement to adhere to the terms of the leniency agreement between its controlling shareholder, J&F Investimentos, and the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office.
