H&M announced as ZDHC speaker

H&M are to join the impressive line up of speakers at the “Sustainability in the Leather Supply Chain” conference in Hong Kong on the April 1, 2014.

Dr Joyce Tsoi, responsible for the environmental programme at H&M, will provide aninsight into the workings of the multi-brand Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) group.

In 2011, a group of major apparel and footwear brands and retailers made a shared commitment to help lead the industry towards zero discharge of hazardous chemicals by 2020. Dr Tsoi will discuss the progress to date and the Joint Roadmap, which is the group’s actionable plan for transforming the global apparel and footwear industry to zero discharge of hazardous chemicals.
