Good start to Paris fair

Published:  19 February, 2014

The Cuir A Paris fair got underway yesterday with the big announcement that the show had been sold by SIC Group to Premiere Vision. Aside from this news the show was quite busy and most exhibitors seemed quite happy with the number of serious visitors.

"This morning we did not have time to even get a drink of water, we were so busy", one Spanish shoe upper leather tanner exhibiting at the show told ILM

Exhibitors are showing leather colours and trends for the Spring/Summer 2015 colloections and there featured lots of strong colours such as blues, reds and oranges. A full preview of the colours and trends will be published in the next edition of ILM.

Most exhibitors at the show were Italian with a large number of French, Spanish, Portuguese and Turkish companies also attending. There is also a small group of Brazilian tanners exhibiting.

The show runs February 18-20 in Paris alongside the other Premiére Vision events for textile, conponents and accessories. More updates to follow.
