Further executive changes at Brazil’s BRF

Parcias Junior has resigned from his role as independent member of the Board of Directors of BRF, one of the world’s biggest food companies.

BRF has not disclosed further details of Junior’s resignation, which has been cited as “for personal reasons”. In September, BRF also announced the departure Pedro Faria, the current CEO, amid divergences within the company. Faria is to leave the company on December 31. Read more here.

On October 24, shares of BRF SA traded -6.1% below its 50-day moving average.
