Vietnam needs to boost local raw material production

As Vietnam follows China’s footsteps and quickly develops itself as an export-oriented economy, with overall exports exceeding targets and reaching US$173.7 billion in the first ten months of 2017, the country’s footwear and leather goods manufacturers see the potential of the domestic market but still struggle in sourcing raw materials locally, including leather.
