Federal police investigate JBS tax affairs

Brazil’s federal police are executing 14 search warrants linked to a tax probe involving meatpacking giant JBS SA. According to local media reports, the Group would have paid R$ 160 million (US$48.38 million) in bribes between 2004 and 2017 to speed up the release of tax credits.
