Boxmark Leather, automotive leather maker, improved its results in 2013, as the company generated over €130m in revenues and several millions in profit, CEO Marjan Trobiš told. The company has also increased the number of employees and plans to build a new production plant.

The company employs a total of 1,938 seamstresses at two facilities in Dravograd (N) and Kidričevo (NE) in Slovenia. Only a year ago, the company had 1,600 workers and Trobiš believes that they will continue to employ new work force.

After the company closed a plant in Radlje ob Dravi a year ago, it launched a new facility in the nearby Dravograd recently.

The company has also just acquired a building permit for a new 4,000 square metre shop in Kidričevo, which will expectedly be built by the end of summer.
