ECHA report says more to be done on chemical compliance

In 2017, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) checked the compliance of 222 registrations, most of them on substances of potential concern. In 151 cases, the Agency says it requested further information that is essential for demonstrating the safe use of the substance. This time, its annual progress report on evaluation under REACH also includes a ten-year overview on its activities.
