Taking place in Kilkenny, Ireland, on October 9-12, the Global Conference on Sustainable Beef will include three discussion panels related to leather sustainability.
The four-day conference will cover topics such as regional impacts and innovations on sustainable beef across countries such as Brazil, Australia, the U.S. and Argentina; breeding technology breakthroughs; and packer and retailer sustainability.
On October 11, the conference will close the day’s session with a panel titled "Leather Sustainability: Insights, Common Ground and Goals" and, on October 12, the “Sustainability Sunrise Session: Leather and Beef" will bring together leather and beef industry stakeholders to discuss sustainability common ground and opportunities for collaboration.
Additionally, a Responsible Leather Roundtable (RLRT) Session will be held in the morning of the last day of the conference.
Co-hosted by the committee of the Global Roundtable for Sustainable Beef, ERBS (European Roundtable for Beef Sustainability) and the Irish Food Board (Board Bia), the conference will be held in Lyrath Estate, Kilkenny, Ireland, October 9-12.
